Our goal is to provide our users with the information most useful to them in locating a fitness facility or personal trainer matching their needs. We have an additional obligation to provide our customers (the fitness facilities and trainers themselves) with a quality marketing tool with superior market penetration. • Information we collect about you

An important distinction must be made between our users and customers. The term "customers" refers to those individuals who have posted a fitness facility or personal trainer listing. "Users" include all other visitors to GoGym. GoGym automatically collects IP addresses and aggregates information on what web pages our visitors use, the frequency and length of their visits, referral data (e.g. the internet address of the last web page visited by a user before proceeding to GoGym.co.uk), and other general information that may be used to evaluate and improve our web site.

We collect no personally identifiable information from anyone except paying customers, users who voluntarily register to use internet services we provide, and users who choose to initiate contact with us. Personally identifiable information is any information that can be used to identify you, such as your name, address, phone number, web address, etc.

If you choose to communicate with us over the internet, we may request that you provide personally identifiable information necessary for us to process your request for information, respond to your questions, or deliver a product or service.

The information you send us via email or through one of our internet services requiring an ID and password may be shared with our employees who require this information to respond to your request and as permitted by law. • Where we store this information

Personally identifiable information submitted to GoGym for the purposes of registration or listing editing may be stored temporarily in a "session" on our server until you elect to permanently save it in our secure database. The temporary information will be destroyed when you close your browser and, in many cases, earlier. GoGym also uses "cookies", which are small files stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive, for storing general information about you that would not be considered personally identifiable information such as preferences, IP addresses, and other data that may help improve our services to our users without compromising security. You may always choose not to accept cookies by reconfiguring your browser to refuse cookies automatically or prompt you before accepting them. Note that some GymPost services may be unavailable to you if you refuse to accept cookies.

• How we use this information

Information collected when you respond to surveys and promotions on our web site will be used in our continuous quality improvement process to improve our information and services. We may inform you of new products and services from GoGym or our affiliates based on the information you provide us. Information collected when you seek technical or billing support for your GoGym account is used only to the extent necessary to resolve your issue. All other information you submit or that which is automatically collected by GoGym is for internal use only, with the notable exception of that data provided by paying customers for display in our public listings.

• Email privacy

For additional privacy and to help curb spam, contact email addresses of our registered customers are hidden from our users. Prospective clients may still communicate with fitness facilities and personal trainers via this method through email forms contained within the web site. As with any electronic means of communication, there exists a possibility that emails may be intercepted, forwarded, or altered without authorization or detection. GoGym can not and does not guarantee the confidentiality of internet communications, although we have no evidence to suggest that our current security measures are insufficient.
